The Hawker Hurricane is an early WW2 British fighter plane and played a huge part in the "Battle of Britain" which you can read about here: Battle of Britain
The Hawker Hurricane had many different variations the first of them in service was the Mark 1(MK 1) that Had a two bladed propeller and its wings and fuselage were skinned with fabric. the next model was the MK I but a later variant of it with a three bladed propeller and its wings were skinned with metal. there were many other variants including the MK IIB which was fitted with racks underneath the wing allowing the installation of 2 250 lb (113kg) or 2 500 lb (226kg) bombs and 12 7.7mm browning mg's. A slightly later variant the MK IIc which was fitted with 4 in wing 20mm cannons. the last model ever produced with a total of 3 produced was the MK V it was a prototype and had a four bladed propeller.
